Coconut (Steven)

Steven Coconut Narasimha is a wild and playful embodiment monkey. His whole life has involved in some form or another finding enjoyment through movement. After beginning Capoeira over 12 years ago, Steven has been training for last 8+ years with Mestre Espaço of Azania Capoeira. M Espaço’s unique approach has many concepts that cross over into other partner arts. Over the last couple decades he has studied multiple forms of bodywork, yoga, martial arts, contact improv, water dance, primal movement, tai qi, qigong, ayurveda, Chinese medicine, and the red road. Coconut’s unique mix of movement philosophies creates a container for exploration of embodied listening, play, and connection.
