Mihai

When teaching dance, Mihai aims to speak very little. Instead, he leads his students into exercises that generate quality movement and connection. He then uses a few specific, well-chosen words to help students contextualize and remember that feeling. Mihai is especially good at breaking down seemingly undescribable topics, such as what makes a good follow or the right energy of asking someone to dance. He has been teaching and organizing dances since 2004, and he believes the primary job of a (dance) teacher is to get the students excited about the next lesson.
